Oh hello
Greetings humans, and welcome to the Gorilla Blog. Here you’ll find an assortment of articles and reviews focused on the mainstream, from the point of view of filmmakers living on the fringes. Once you’re appropriately stimulated, be sure to check out the proper website gorillafilmmagazine.com
Gorilla is a platform for low-to-no budget filmmakers who don’t get the attention they deserve on mainstream sites. We also produce a 68 page, full-colour filmmaking guidebook called Gorilla Film Magazine which is full of reviews, articles, interviews and filmmaking tips, all with a sexy aesthetic that projects the illusion of grace. We’re filmmakers, not writers, so we hope you’ll forgive the flippant tone and the poor grammar.
You can follow us on Facebook for friendly updates, which also come in bite-sized snippets on Twitter for all you apathetic youths out there. We’re also on Youtube and Vimeo.
As for the magazine itself, it’s out there somewhere, scattered around London. If you’re not a local, you’ll have to subscribe, and magazines will be sent to you for a small fee. And buy the back issues too, cheapskate, we gotta eat too y’know.
